The Hurst College New Year Fun Show, 2026
On the 4 th of January, 2026, the Hurst Equestrian Department added a new event to the calendar – The Hurst College New Year Fun Show held at Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre. A Great End to 2025
The Hurst Equestrian Team finished off a very successful 2025 with another great show. Many of our Grass Roots riders headed to Felbridge Equestrian Centre on the 7 th of December for some qualifying classes. In the 50cm optimum time class both Hurst riders rode lovely double clears. Sucess for Hurst's Youngest Riders
On the 16 November some of Hurst Equestrian’s youngest riders headed to Sands Farm for a NSEA Grass Roots Show Jumping competition. In the 50cm class the team finished in 3 rd place, qualifying them for the Grass Roots Regional Championships. Well done Willow I, Atticus AH, and Sienna P. After a year of hard work in qualifying classes, Hurst students proudly represented the college at the NSEA Championships held at Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire. Record-Breaking Turnout for Hurst College’s Inter-Schools Showjumping
On 25th September 2025, Hickstead Showground played host to the largest-ever Hurst College Inter-Schools Team and Individual Showjumping Competition. Sponsored, hosted and organised by the Hurst Equestrian Department, the annual event welcomed 158 pupils from 33 schools across the region, with over 200 rounds of showjumping completed throughout the day.
