Record-Breaking Turnout for Hurst College’s Inter-Schools Showjumping
On 25th September 2025, Hickstead Showground played host to the largest-ever Hurst College Inter-Schools Team and Individual Showjumping Competition. Sponsored, hosted and organised by the Hurst Equestrian Department, the annual event welcomed 158 pupils from 33 schools across the region, with over 200 rounds of showjumping completed throughout the day. Due to an unprecedented number of entries, the competition began an hour earlier than usual at 8:30am and ran until 6pm.
