A Great End to 2025

The Hurst Equestrian Team finished off a very successful 2025 with another great show. Many of our Grass Roots riders headed to Felbridge Equestrian Centre on the 7th of December for some qualifying classes.

In the 50cm optimum time class both Hurst riders rode lovely double clears. Lucy O’s fantastic round was sadly too fast for the optimum time, however Atticus AH’s stylish round was only a few seconds off, resulting in him finishing in 6th place and qualifying for the grass roots finals in 2026.

Atticus saw further success in the 60cm with a second clear round, this time finishing in 4th place - yet again qualifying. He was also part of the Hurst 60cm team who finished in 3rd place overall meaning he gained a team qualification alongside his two individual ones. Well done to his team mates, Elsa S, Florence Mc, and Hettie Mc who also contributed to the team's qualification.

The last to jump of the day was Amelie P, who did a spectacular speedy clear round in the 70cm, winning the class and beating second place by almost 2 seconds. Congratulations!

Well done to all Hurst Team members present on the day, who braved the rather dreary winter weather.

Over the past year we have seen some truly exceptional results and progress from our riders, along with their dedication to training and competitions. We look forward to seeing what 2026 brings!
