Weekly Training

Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre/Hickstead Showground/Other Locations

Hurst pupils only

Pupils train weekly during school hours at the world class facilities at Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre and Hickstead Showground. They are able to get a school bus from school to the trianing center, and back again.

We provide weekly lessons with Hurst's Equestrian Coaches, Harriet Upton and Ashley Boyce. We also offer clinics with top professional riders such as Olympic dressage rider Fiona Bigwood and Olympic event rider Tina Cook.

During half terms we run clinics further afield, such as cross country training at Coombelands Equestrian Centre, and Littleton Manor Equestrian Centre.

Monday Electives

Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre

Hurst pupils with horses stabled at Hascombe only

Those students with horses or ponies stabled at Hascombe are able to choose riding as a Monday afternoon elective, allowing them another opportunity to ride during shcool hours. They are able to get a bus from school to Hascombe, then may either get a bus back to the College or be picked up direclty from Hascombe. This is a great opporutnity for students to have another supervised trianing session during school hours.
