Hurst Riders Shine with Placings in Every Class at Farlington Show

Hurst riders enjoyed yet another fantastic day of competition at the Farlington School Show, held at Coombelands Equestrian. Our riders achieved placings in every single class, from 40cm through to 90cm. Every Hurst team finished in the top three, supported by some brilliant individual performances. As this was not an NSEA event, riders were able to team up with students from other schools to complete their teams.

The day began with a win for Team Sparkle, made up of Hurst riders Willow I and Maggie H, alongside two non‑Hurst teammates. Willow delivered an excellent round, securing 3rd place individually.

In the 50cm class, Willow collected another rosette as part of Team Diamond, finishing 3rd with Sienna P and a non‑Hurst rider. Both Willow and Sienna also placed individually, taking 6th and 5th respectively.

The 60cm saw Team Golden Pony Club, featuring Sienna P and non‑Hurst riders, finish in 3rd place. The theme continued in the 70cm, where Team Green also secured 3rd place. Congratulations to Amelia P and Ella S, who were joined by two non‑Hurst riders. Amelie also achieved 3rd individually with a speedy round, and it was wonderful to see Ella make her Hurst debut.

Hurst claimed yet another 3rd place in the 80cm, this time with a full Hurst team: Amelie T, Darcey G, Rosie C and Rosie YJ. A huge well done to Rosie C, who won the class, and to Darcey G, who finished 6th individually.

The final class of the day brought another victory, with Team Pink (Darcey G, Rosie C, and a non‑Hurst rider) taking the win. Rosie and Darcey also earned individual rosettes, finishing 1st and 4th respectively.

What a brilliant set of results. Well done to all the riders involved in these outstanding performances.
