It was a busy May half-term for many of the Hurst Equestrian Team, who competed in a variety of shows across the holiday. Over the first weekend a number of riders represented Hurst at Hickstead, which you can read about here. However many students also competed outside of school events.
Poppy L came 3rd at the Stonehall One Day Event on a very hot bank holiday Monday, riding her pony Sinbad.

At Beech Farm Atticus AH and Lily had a fantastic show where they won both the 60cm and 70cm, picking up two Sunshine Tour qualifications.

Isla A competed in her first 1.15m class on her horse Guiness, jumping a super clear and finishing 5th.

Sienna P travelled all the way to the David Broom Event Centre in in Wales for three excellent days of jumping. She competed in both British Showjumping and Just for Schools classes, acheiving a 4th, 5th and 6th over the course of the weekend.

Two Hurst riders did exceptionally well at the Summer Pony Premier Show at Coombelands. On the Saturday Rosie C and Hungrois Bruce won the 1.05m with 93 riders in the class!

The same day Darcey G came 2nd and 3rd on her two ponies in The Graham Heath Equestrian 128/138cms Championship Qualifier, and improved her performance the next day coming 1st and 3rd in the same class.

A huge congratulations to all these riders for their incredible results!
