The Equestrian programme at Hurst College has been growing every year for the past 10 years, with Hurst pupils consistently achieving impressive results in national and international competitive events. Hurst Equestrian offers a range of opportunities for students, from weekly training and regular competitions, to being liveried on the Hurst yard.

Next Hurst Equestrian event

The Hurst College Inter-Schools Team and Individual Show Jumping compeition is run by the College annually in Steptember at Hickstead Showground. The show features classes ranging from 45cm to 1m. There are opportunities for a variety of abilities. Those in the smallest class may compete with an assistant - which means young riders can jump on lead rein.

Hurst at Hascombe

Our pupils can now livery their horses in the Hurst stables at Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre. The facilities include a purpose build yard and access to outstanding facilities.
